Marta Fàbregas

Everything that has to do with images is part of Marta Fàbregas’ DNA. She has always been passionate about visual language, and that is why she chose to dedicate herself to photography, her passion, which allows her to combine her artistic and business facets. Her main talent is knowing how to capture, quickly and naturally, the beauty in the things that surround her. This is the strength of her work. She knows how to give brightness and sparkle to everything that passes through her lens. Undoubtedly, empathy, involvement and creativity are what give each project in which she is involved a strength and character that makes it special and unique.

She was born in Barcelona on April 12, 1974 and studied photography at the IEFC (Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya). She worked in several photographic studios in Barcelona and, in 1998, she co-founded Estudi La Fotogràfica with fellow photographer Marc Vidal.

Since then, she has devoted herself mainly to her studio, where she has developed personal and artistic work, along with commissions from museums, companies and private clients. She also teaches classes, workshops and seminars. Her work is part of the private collection of the Lluis Bassat Foundation and the Artemizia Foundation. She co-directed the first edition of the photography festival “Luminic”, which took place in Sant Cugat during the spring of 2019. She is part of the management team of the congress “Imperfect Leader” as “Expert in Art and Business”. Since 2019 she has been actively collaborating with the SETBA foundation giving workshops in favor of women (Foundation dedicated to social action through art), and she is currently the President of a network of women entrepreneurs, Xarxa de Dones Emprenedores de Sant Cugat (XDESC), in the city where she lives.
